Signing Off and Parting Vista Words

For all of my adult life I have enjoyed everything related to computer technology, and like nearly anyone else I have my own passions and biases. I have enjoyed engaging in the public discussion surrounding some of the subjects related to computer technology and systems. Nonetheless, I must ask myself, if the primary public record of my thoughts are embodied in this blog, do I like the person that I am projecting?

What a lot of thought and reflection, it's time for this blog to go away forever, or at least all of the other posts. Sometime during the night of 8/8/08, I intend to remove all other posts, and I apologize for those who may search in vain in the future.

I leave behind my parting words on the subject of Vista, having given this subject a lot of thought also. I find Vista needing improvement, and I personally prefer the Mac OS. But, in the department of credit where credit is due, Vista is a big improvement over XP when it comes to stability and security. That doesn't mean that other issues don't exist, but if I objectively consider my total Vista experience over dozens of systems, versus my total XP experience, I must state the facts, at least as I perceive them.
